Sydney Board Games Club - Meets 2nd Saturday of every month at Unit 10 / 369 Victoria Street WETHERILL PARK (Entrance via Daniel Street)  from 2pm onwards. The League of Extraordinary Gamers - Meets 3rd Sunday of each month at Cavendish Road State School Assembly Hall, Cnr Holland & Cavendish Road, Holland Park West, Brisbane, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Some history of the Australian Board Gamers League (ABGL)

Founded in 2007 to promote Board Game Groups and Board Gaming Events throughout Australia. To encourage the playing of Board Games by the wider community and give Families greater choices when deciding on entertainment options.

In 2007 The Australian Board Gamers League (ABGL) sent:
The winner of the Queensland Diplomacy Tournament (Grant Steel) to The Australian Diplomacy Championships at The Australian Games Expo in Albury Queens Birthday Long Weekend June 9-11 2007 where he finished in 2nd Place.
The winner of the Australian Diplomacy Championships (Rob Stephenson) to The World Diplomacy Championships in Vancouver Canada August 9-12 2007 where he finished in 9th place. Well Done Rob, this is the highest finish for an Australian outside Australia for a World Diplomacy Championship.

In 2008 The Australian Board Gamers League sent:
The winner of the Australian Diplomacy Championships (Andrew Goff) held Australia Day Long Weekend in Sydney to Vienna Austria to represent Australia at The World Diplomacy Championships August 2008.

In 2009 The Australian Board Gamers League will send:
The winner of the Australian Diplomacy Championships (Andrew Goff) held Australia Day Long Weekend in Sydney to Columbus Ohio, USA to represent Australia at The World Diplomacy Championships June 2009.
